# Shopify Integration Guide

The Wishlist — a product of The Wishlist Company — provides retailers with a hosted wishlist solution that can be shared between their brick-and-mortar stores and online storefronts.

The initial implementation of The Wishlist provides automated integration with Shopify online storefronts. Users of other eCommerce platforms can use our REST and Javascript APIs to integrate. We will build further automated integrations moving forward.

This documentation focuses on the integration with Shopify.

## Installing The Wishlist with Shopify

## Accessing Shopify configuration

The steps below show how to access the wishlist configuration for your Shopify store.

1. Go to the Wishlist Admin console login page at <https://sc.au-aws.thewishlist.io/auth/sign-in>.
2. If this is your first time using The Wishlist, click **Setup new retailer**
3. Add your login email address (all lowercase) and click **Get new password**
4. You'll receive an email with a link to update your account password. Click the link and you'll arrive at a page inviting you to **Update your password**. Click on **Click here to proceed**:

Enter and confirm a new password:

Please bear in mind your Shopify password will stay the same. So if you lose your Wishlist password, please contact us.

5. Login using the email address and password provided.

At this point, you should see an administration page for the wishlist. It can be used to configure the wishlist experience that your Shopify customers will see.

The menu items in your wishlist configuration include:

* Dashboard — provides an overall summary of your customer's wishlist use and revenue generated
