# Sales File Import

This document describes the process to upload sales files to The Wishlist. It is intended for those customers that are importing sales from environments other than Shopify and Newstore, which both have API based integrations to The Wishlist.

***Before attempting to upload your files, please contact us to ensure your file mapping is configured.***

## Prerequisites

To upload sales files to The Wishlist:

* Files must be in comma delimited CSV format
* Files should be named **orders.csv** and **order\_lines.csv**
* You must first contact us to ensure your files configuration is defined on our side to ensure correct field mapping.
* You will also need to know your **tenantId**, which we will provide to you.

## Instructions

1. **Create a zip file containing your orders.csv and order\_lines.csv file.** You can name the zip file whatever you like.
2. **Retrieve a preSigned Upload URL.** For each upload, call the following API to get the preSigned url to upload the file. Substitute your zip filename and tenantId where indicated.

The response code will be:

* 200 OK if success
* 4xx if invalid signature, expired URL, or permissions issue.

3.**Upload your file using the preSigned Upload URL.**

After processing, we will save your sales files in an archive for 7 days. We log all imports and can provide logs from the last 7 days upon request.
